UK: call from the 'fraud team', a courier collects your card

A supposed bank or police officer reports suspicious payments. The money must move to a 'safe account' and a courier will collect your card. Both go straight to the criminals — documented cases exceed £11,000.

  • You are told to move money to a 'safe account'
  • You are told to stay on the line and not call anyone

What to do

Hang up, call back using the number on your card, block the card and report it to the police.
