Brand bargain in a fake shop, prepayment only
A shop advertises 60–80 % off branded goods. In the last checkout step PayPal and card suddenly disappear and only a bank transfer to a foreign account is left. The goods never arrive and the shop goes offline within weeks.
Warning signs
- Bank transfer is the only method that works at the end
- IBAN from a different country than the shop
- Imprint with no real company or copied from elsewhere
- Domain only a few weeks old
What to do
Call your bank immediately and request a SEPA recall, then file a police report.
